I finally carved away some time to check out the How Posters Work exhibit at the Cooper Hewitt. The exhibit walks the viewer through the principles of poster design; compositions, perception and storytelling. The exhibit featured 125 posters form the museum's permanent collection including works from designers such as Herbert Matter, Philippe Apeloig, Paul Rand, and many more.
